Educator Fellowship

The Educator Fellowship provides support and nurture for anyone involved in educational ministry in the presbytery.   Please join us for our next event.

On Tuesday, November 9, 2010, we will gather with the PALMS group (Presbyterian Association of Lake Michigan Secretaries) at First Church in Jackson.  We will meet at 10:30 a.m.  Rev. Bill Fuerstenau will talk with us about "Keeping the Holidays Holy."  Lunch will be at 12:30 p.m., for which there will be a free will offering.

On Thursday, January 13, 2011, we will meet at the presbytery office in Portage from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.  Jane McGookey, the communications coordinator for the presbytery, will talk about what is new in communications and technology and the ethical implications for families and young people.  Lunch will be provided, with a free will offering.

In the spring, we will have a retreat called "A Taste of Sabbath"  for educators and clergy, beginning on Thurdsay evening, May 5 and continuing through the day on Friday, May 6 at the St. Francis Retreat Center in DeWitt.  More information will be available soon.
