The Shepherding Ministry Team recently convened a group of spiritual directors from within the Lake Michigan Presbytery. Spiritual Directors are clergy or lay people who have completed specialized training in being with others who are seeking to deepen their relationship with God. Their focus is not so much understanding God as reflecting on one’s experience of listening and responding to God’s Spirit in their lives

In collaboration with the Leadership Team, the spiritual directors have also agreed to plan a 2011 Presbytery-wide event for all members with interest in deepening their experience of spiritual practices supporting personal and community transformation.
