How do we communicate our purpose to visitors and new members? 4. Do our programs, ministries, and budget accurately reflect our purpose? Think of Visitors as Guests, and members as Hosts! Events - Identify the event (“What do you want me to come to?”)
- Define a target audience (“Who am I?” ”What is important to me?”)
- What is the message? (Why should I attend?)
- Determine the communication/invitation techniques (How am I invited?)
- Key Evaluative Question: - How will this event contribute to the outreach of our church?
